Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Freire in the 71st minute of play. Laçın Cumayev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Freire's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Tufan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Tufan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Stig-Åke Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chico Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Braga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
