Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Bulls from getting a goal against them. Henrique Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Cabral's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Arí Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Henrique Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LauerArmy's Frédson de Almeida got a free kick in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Pereira came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowen Doherty in the 19th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Atakan Oykan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Murilo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the LauerArmy defense, Wei Shu Gang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atakan Oykan. The LauerArmy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atakan Oykan should have stopped the shot. After the first half Grêmio Bulls were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. Grêmio Bulls's Wei Shu Gang was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Grêmio Bulls were furious when Amauri Lucas was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 55th minute, one of Grêmio Bulls:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grêmio Bulls. Grêmio Bulls:s Henrique Prata showed great skill when he stopped Konstanty Kojder:s penalty. In the 60th minute, Geoff Mullen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grêmio Bulls's Ernesto Falcão managed to work through LauerArmy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ernesto Falcão dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Murilo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Murilo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. LauerArmy's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrão Prata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Atakan Oykan made a huge save. LauerArmy's Frédson de Almeida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sunday Skinas, made in the 92nd minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Arí Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Prata. Grêmio Bulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Geoff Mullen charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geoff Mullen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geoff Mullen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Arí Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LauerArmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arí Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grêmio Bulls played a much better game than LauerArmy and deserved their victory. The LauerArmy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
