An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄昆傲 in the 8th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vygantas Vyšniauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Alessandro do Valle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juvenal Zanette. Alessandro do Valle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curt Montes in the 16th minute of play. Adrian Botea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Simões having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Killian Cruzado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C. Galera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MarquinhosEC the free kick. A collision led to E.C. Galera getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Killian Cruzado hit a great ball. Juvenal Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Quinto in the 24th minute of play. Zézinho Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 狄昆傲 went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save E.C. Galera from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Montes came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Zanette made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Florin Susara sent off a good shot on target. 狄昆傲 took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zézinho Simões. Zézinho Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Andreas Iniesta threw the ball into play from the sideline. E.C. Galera's Bobby Moore quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 40 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when 狄昆傲 came free, but Zézinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th match minute, E.C. Galera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Vander to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when 狄昆傲 made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute 狄昆傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to E.C. Galera's Igor Vander getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 57 minutes of play, E.C. Galera's 狄昆傲 made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zézinho Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, 狄昆傲 made a precise shot to the right of Zézinho Simões. MarquinhosEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. MarquinhosEC's Rubinho Valle was substituted for Esteve Quinto. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Perivaldo Guimarães replaced Curt Montes. MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas was substituted for Alessandro do Valle. 64 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 狄昆傲. In the 66th minute of the match E.C. Galera got a corner. MarquinhosEC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vygantas Vyšniauskas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when E.C. Galera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Killian Cruzado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Freitas in the 73rd minute of the match. Inácio Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's 狄昆傲 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MarquinhosEC's Barrie Deacon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marián Prieložný in the 78 minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Guimarães came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Valadares's late challenge caught a MarquinhosEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Artur Valadares got a free kick in the 95th minute. E.C. Galera were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MarquinhosEC's much stronger midfield.
