In the 11th minute Thiago Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leo Matute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Thiago Gøl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilário Aveiro. Hilário Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes G.D Vitória de Sernache got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Vigário. After a defensive mix-up in G.D Vitória de Sernache's zone, Thiago Gøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azul Y Plomo's Diego Lugano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when G.D Vitória de Sernache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to G.D Vitória de Sernache getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ivan Diegues hit a great ball. Normando Ferrão's late challenge caught a Azul Y Plomo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azul Y Plomo's Frutos Jiron couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for G.D Vitória de Sernache. Thiago Gøl in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hilário Aveiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd minute Leo Matute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilário Aveiro came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul Y Plomo's Leo Matute. But to his dismay, Leo Matute quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Azul Y Plomo's Frutos Jiron quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adão Avelar, made in the 90th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Azul Y Plomo's Hilário Aveiro threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Matute, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Leo Matute came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Azul Y Plomo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Matute couldn't finish the play. Azul Y Plomo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
