Antoni Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dávid Strelec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8thth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Izesti's Antoni Osielski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Izesti defense, Nikola Krstović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Osielski. The FC Izesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Osielski should have stopped the shot. Antoni Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 25 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoni Osielski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th match minute, FC Izesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Berevoescu to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurențiu Avram made a kick off. Antoni Osielski came out of the goal and Dávid Strelec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Nikola Krstović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antoni Osielski. Nikola Krstović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, FC Izesti's goalkeeper Antoni Osielski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikola Krstović. FC Izesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Nikola Krstović scored to the left of an out of position Antoni Osielski, making the score, 0-5. 70 minutes into the game, Alek Justus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFK Petržalka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Izesti the free kick. 75 minutes into the game, Nikola Krstović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antoni Osielski. Nikola Krstović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. FC Izesti's Sandu Vâlceanu got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Sandu Vâlceanu off the ground. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when FC Izesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Vâlceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Osielski made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. When Nikola Krstović came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Krstović couldn't finish the play. Laurențiu Avram made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Horaţiu Onaca however managed to control. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Checa in the 97th minute. AFK Petržalka's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
