In the 14th minute Nikola Krstović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikola Krstović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilário Aveiro having to make a save. Hilário Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adão Avelar charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adão Avelar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adão Avelar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 25th minute of play. When Nikola Krstović came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Krstović couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro. Hilário Aveiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilário Aveiro. G.D Vitória de Sernache's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikola Krstović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hilário Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 37th minute of the match. Heitor Vigário kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The G.D Vitória de Sernache players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFK Petržalka were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dávid Strelec to make the kick off. Hilário Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 54th minute of the match. Despite this Hilário Aveiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hilário Aveiro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Alek Justus sent off a good shot on target. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilário Aveiro. That made the score 0-7 after 87 minutes of play. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by G.D Vitória de Sernache's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guillermo Checa was slow to take the kick. During this time AFK Petržalka's players had a chance to rest. Guillermo Checa made a great header on AFK Petržalka's corner, it was just that G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro managed to reach the ball for a save. AFK Petržalka played a much better game than G.D Vitória de Sernache and deserved their victory. The G.D Vitória de Sernache players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
