The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hilário Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 5th minute of the match. If Fabrício Graça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to G.D Vitória de Sernache getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Afonso Viegas hit a great ball. Hilário Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Piearres Somiedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilário Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nardo Tuo in the 16th minute of the match. Hilário Aveiro came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Emilio Alberete. But to his dismay, Emilio Alberete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jaizki Colina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Somiedo came free, but Hilário Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when G.D Vitória de Sernache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Diegues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piearres Somiedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilário Aveiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Jaizki Colina came free, but Hilário Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piearres Somiedo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilário Aveiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nardo Tuo in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Somiedo came free, but Hilário Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Emilio Alberete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaizki Colina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilário Aveiro having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Piearres Somiedos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Hilário Aveiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guillen Ubiña came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by G.D Vitória de Sernache's Heitor Vigário. But to his dismay, Heitor Vigário quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Hilário Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nardo Tuo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro got control of the ball when Jaizki Colina tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Somiedo in the 58th minute of play forced G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalkeeper Hilário Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Afonso Viegas fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.D Vitória de Sernache's protests and gave Afonso Viegas a yellow card for diving instead. Jaizki Colina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Hilário Aveiro made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Piearres Somiedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 74th minute, Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. After a rather tough play, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Normando Ferrão got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jaizki Colina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hilário Aveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilário Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Favila Heras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalkeeper Hilário Aveiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaizki Colina. Hilário Aveiro made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jaizki Colina sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Piearres Somiedo took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Hilário Aveiro to make any attempt to save it. If Emilio Alberete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. Hilário Aveiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
