Cristóvão Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mila Gröhe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If João Francisco Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão de Medeiros in the 27th minute of play. Gaspar Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elco Das in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão de Medeiros in the 42nd minute of play forced Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Emanuele Hottiger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mila Gröhe, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Paranhos Ariranha FC's Honorato Afonso was substituted for Guillermo Baleren. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Mattos made a kick off. Ömer Eymen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Mila Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mila Gröhe. ALTHENTIC F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 74 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Mila Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elco Das could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Gaspar Gilesindo made a huge save. In the 77th minute Betão de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Claudinei Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Gilesindo. Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 87th minute Betão de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elco Das. In the 94th minute, Elco Das ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Gilesindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
