After the first half Espigão Steamrollers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Espigão Steamrollers's Ulisses Carioca was substituted for Walmyr Meira. Roneixon Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Cordeiro having to make a save. Emílio Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. Gilberto Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo de Medeiros having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Rachman Eastwood got a free kick in the 88th minute. Espigão Steamrollers's Kara Bhattacharya quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luís Amorim, made in the 90th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the game, Luís Amorim threw the ball into play from the sideline. Espigão Steamrollers's Kara Bhattacharya quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 97 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Paranaense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Espigão Steamrollers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
