A collision led to Poetass FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Thommy Maerschalks hit a great ball. A hard shot by João Francisco Fontes from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got José Maria Goiano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Mattos made a kick off. Cristóvão Mattos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. José Maria Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranhos Ariranha FC. Kalle Billberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gaspar Gilesindo made a huge save. The throw-in from Vicente Heidemann in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Abel Maia. The Paranhos Ariranha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poetass FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
