Flóki Factor struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gaspar Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalkeeper Dolfo Burgo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dolfo Burgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's João Francisco Fontes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Dolfo Burgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flóki Factor in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Paranhos Ariranha FC got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Duarte. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
