Caskinha Esporte Clube's attentive Patryk Sikora managed to snatch the ball when Arí Dias made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th minute of the match Baleren Acedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Gilesindo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Caskinha Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Wang Sen Jian. With a little luck, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paranhos Ariranha FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Caskinha Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Francisco Fontes took the corner. After taking down the ball on Paranhos Ariranha FC's corner João Francisco Fontes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leandro Neves quite easily take care of the ball. João Francisco Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Caskinha Esporte Clube got a corner. Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baleren Acedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Caskinha Esporte Clube's corner Baleren Acedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gaspar Gilesindo quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Arí Dias threw the ball into play from the sideline. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Artur Campidelis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 44th minute, Gilberto dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Gilesindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Hottiger in the 47th minute of play.

Paranhos Ariranha FC's Honorato Afonso was substituted for Guillermo Baleren. Manoel Macedo made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Abel Maia. 62 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto dos Santos came free, but Gaspar Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caskinha Esporte Clube booed when Paranhos Ariranha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter-Maarten Specht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Eduardo Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Gilesindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Caskinha Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Patryk Sikora hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caskinha Esporte Clube's zone, Cristóvão Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Neves came out of the goal and Cristóvão Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Abel Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Neves came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Paranhos Ariranha FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
