S S Palestra Italia's Remo da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Colombi in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Diego De Lorenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego De Lorenzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute of the match, Rômulo Macedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emiliano De Zorzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Emiliano De Zorzi got control of the ball when Luiz Fábio Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line.
