In the 19th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo da Mata to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Sayveon in the 26th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Remo da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo da Mata in the 95th minute of the match. Inter Nados's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
