Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miguel Zuasnabar made the kick off which started today's match. Serafim Hermes made in the 2nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gavião Kyikatejê's Davie McWhirter. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom got control of the ball when Inácio Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Lindov in the 7th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Zuasnabar took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute of the game Serafim Hermes made a throw-in which Inácio Figueiredo played forward. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 21st minute of play. When Miguel Zuasnabar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jarbas Guedes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 26th minute of the match. Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Rodney Lindov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarbas Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Zuasnabar went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Miguel Zuasnabar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Zuasnabar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Zé Roberto Moura made the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner. Miroslaw Dobilas went to the cornerflag to take it. Miroslaw Dobilas made a great header on Gavião Kyikatejê's corner, it was just that S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes managed to reach the ball for a save. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save S S Palestra Italia from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Miguel Zuasnabar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarbas Guedes was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Lindov. 94 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Tasso came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Oriol. After 97 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Hermes. In the 98th minute, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gavião Kyikatejê had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
