Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. Paşa Nada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Sobania in the 19th minute of play. Bogumil Babicki hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Operário Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybek Lami to maneuver through the defense. Paşa Nada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Roorda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Elmar Roorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paşa Nada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 29th minute of play forced Operário Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paşa Nada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manoel dos Santos made a kick off. After some careless play in the Operário Futebol Clube defense, Tomasz Sobania kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paşa Nada. The Operário Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paşa Nada should have stopped the shot. Paşa Nada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Matela in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Operário Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paşa Nada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Sobania. 66 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel dos Santos came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paşa Nada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Witek in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Tomasz Sobania had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paşa Nada. Operário Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomasz Sobania was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The Soczewki Gliwice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soczewki Gliwice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
