The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marcelo Afraga fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekedalen SK's protests and gave Marcelo Afraga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CONSTILIANO booed when Ekedalen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Afraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Azubeli in the 5th minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Tomas Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Hajduk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mugur Bejenaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Luzaide scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Renato Dionísio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Christiansen got free with Wojciech Hajduk in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wojciech Hajduk made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Anders Christiansen sent off a good shot on target. If Enzo Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes CONSTILIANO got a freekick which was hit by Viden Birov. Enzo Azubeli struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Paulo Renato Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CONSTILIANO. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mugur Bejenaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CONSTILIANO's Wojciech Hajduk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Ekedalen SK's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Erlantz came free, but Paulo Renato Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Dionísio having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Albom to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Renato Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Azubeli in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Erlantz in the 34th minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Nyström in the 36th minute of play forced CONSTILIANO's goalkeeper Wojciech Hajduk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ekedalen SK defense, Enzo Azubeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Renato Dionísio. The Ekedalen SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Renato Dionísio should have stopped the shot. When CONSTILIANO's Enzo Azubeli in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ekedalen SK's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Enzo Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CONSTILIANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mugur Bejenaru made a kick off. After 54 minutes Ekedalen SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Luzaide who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on CONSTILIANO's corner Carmelo Erlantz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Renato Dionísio quite easily take care of the ball. Paulo Renato Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CONSTILIANO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicanor Luzaide in the 60th minute. Paulo Renato Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Azubeli in the 62nd minute of the match. Ekedalen SK's Paulo Renato Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Luzaide in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ekedalen SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicanor Luzaide was slow to take the kick. During this time CONSTILIANO's players had a chance to rest. CONSTILIANO's Nicanor Luzaide was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Renato Dionísio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wojciech Hajduk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Afraga in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Tomas Nyström got a free kick in the 75th minute. CONSTILIANO made a substitution. Serafin Gustau replaced Ladislao Curcio. A collision led to Ekedalen SK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tomas Nyström hit a great ball. Paulo Renato Dionísio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Azubeli's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Claes Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Wojciech Hajduk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Bejenaru in the 83rd minute of the match. Wojciech Hajduk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Bejenaru in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Viden Birov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Renato Dionísio. Ekedalen SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viden Birov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Paulo Renato Dionísio was a little too slow when Enzo Azubeli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-4. The CONSTILIANO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CONSTILIANO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
