But to his dismay, Wilfredo Sengrat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Adamczycha's goal looked a bit too open when Gjermund Viste came free, but Ulysses de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Ferrara, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulysses de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gjermund Viste sent off a good shot on target. When Leon Milko fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adamczycha's protests and gave Leon Milko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Leon Milko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 20 minutes, Gjermund Viste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legia Stavanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gjermund Viste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Sengrat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slavcho Kanov. Legia Stavanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Sengrat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adamczycha's goalkeeper Ulysses de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Adamczycha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Waselenczuk to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gjermund Viste in the 42nd minute of the match. Ulysses de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gjermund Viste, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Adamczycha's Ulysses de Alcântara got control of the ball when Abelardo Alonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Alonsos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Ulysses de Alcântara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Ferrara was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Adamczycha's Kryspin Waselenczuk got a free kick in the 70th minute. Daniel Farstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ulysses de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Gjermund Viste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Adamczycha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Adamczycha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
