Basilio Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RB Chubut. Robert Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Raul Erramun sent off a good shot on target. When Prudencio Mónos got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Robert Vassenius was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. RB Chubut's Lázaro Quico was substituted for Adrian Cristos. RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo was substituted for Justino Heli. After the first half RB Chubut were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goel Mahal made a kick off. Ricardo Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Antonio Nordby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Vassenius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
