Dragon Hunter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forever Tango the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dragon Hunter's Angel Firman got a free kick in the 10th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Dragon Hunter's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Zheng came free, but Gerardo Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Juan Kemen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dragon Hunter's Gerardo Oalo did a great save. Charly Tevez struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Juan Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragon Hunter. If Omar Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Juan Raúl Amuchástegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Oalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charly Tevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Dragon Hunter's Charly Tevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charly Tevez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Juan Giraldo 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charly Tevez was the one to do the kick off. Sixto Gaxan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Emeterio in the 54th minute of play. Charly Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Giraldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Dragon Hunter were awarded a corner. Cristian Emeterio went to the cornerflag to take it. Melquiades Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Juan Giraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Tevez in the 70th minute of the match. Gerardo Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Santo in the 72nd minute of the match. Juan Kemen hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Forever Tango defense, Cristian Emeterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Giraldo. The Forever Tango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Giraldo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dragon Hunter had won after a very even match.
