After 18 minutes, Ediberto Sampaio made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Maximiliano Iigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Odon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximiliano Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Cozzetti in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Milian in the 37th minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Máximo Cozzetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel-Omar Batista to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Milian in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Iigo saved ★Independiente Ψ★ from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Santana came free, but Maximiliano Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Quirze. ★Independiente Ψ★ made a substitution. Lei Feng Ying replaced Gabriel-Omar Batista. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ made a substitution. Amadeo Lope replaced Franco Jurado. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Quirze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ★Independiente Ψ★ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
