After a rather tough play, Plebeyos's Waldemar Mangueira got a free kick in the 8th minute. Máximo Kirchner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Cordeal having to interfere. Venancio Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Uter in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Máximo Kirchner lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Arsenio Cordeal. In the 30th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Valentin Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Venancio Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Uter in the 37th minute of play. Máximo Kirchner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Arsenio Cordeal made a huge save. After 39 minutes Plebeyos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Okopny who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 43rd minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kåre Uter. After 56 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Plebeyos's Gonzalo Franco got a free kick in the 60th minute. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Okopny, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Michal Stehno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arsenio Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru was substituted for Maarten Aelbrecht. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Bâru came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite this Arsenio Cordeal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 87 minutes, Nestor Bâru made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Valentin Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plebeyos's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nestor Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arsenio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bâru in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Nestor Bâru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. Plebeyos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Bâru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
