Peter Crouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Cristofol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Unidad de Matanza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pavel Nedvěd took the corner. After taking down the ball on ZORZAL01's corner Peter Crouch fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venancio Cristofol quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10th minute, Peter Crouch made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Cristofol. Unidad de Matanza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Qin Fan Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Okopny came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Stehno in the 15th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Artur Burdzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qin Fan Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Librado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

56 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Orlin threw the ball into play from the sideline. ZORZAL01's Ejner Neinvig quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 65th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Krumbacher to maneuver through the defense. Unidad de Matanza's Yannick Bartz was substituted for Máximo Kirchner. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Lotfi Ziadi replaced Michal Stehno. Venancio Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 67th minute of the match. Venancio Cristofol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Crouch went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Neville Garner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Nestor Bâru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Bâru came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Crouch in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. Nestor Bâru scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qin Fan Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Krumbacher kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Unidad de Matanza's zone, Pavel Nedvěd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Cristofol came out of the goal and Pavel Nedvěd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yannick Bartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
