Mats Liljeström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Korneliusz Brak. 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Tobias Xacintu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korneliusz Brak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Benvide didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Saturnino Romo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Korneliusz Brak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Korneliusz Brak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Korneliusz Brak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 37th minute of the match. Saturnino Romo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Korneliusz Brak. Korneliusz Brak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Saturnino Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremey Vanooteghem was the one to do the kick off. Saturnino Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korneliusz Brak having to make a save. Jerzy Marchefka might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korneliusz Brak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Marchefka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
