The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Omar Santo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Qin Fan Sheng, 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Giraldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Santo got free with Qin Fan Sheng in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qin Fan Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Librado in the 14th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Peter Crouch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Juan Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Peter Crouch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Giraldo. Forever Tango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Crouch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 31st minute Juan Raúl Amuchástegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Raúl Amuchástegui took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qin Fan Sheng. Qin Fan Sheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Qin Fan Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Bailey in the 35th minute of the match. Qin Fan Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Santo in the 37th minute. Juan Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Juan Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Peter Crouch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Crouch made a kick off. ZORZAL01's Ejner Neinvig quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Reynaldo Vimaro, made in the 51st minute of the game. Peter Crouch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Giraldo having to make a save. Juan Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Peter Crouch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Giraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Juan Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Bastia in the 61st minute of play. When Peter Crouch came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the ZORZAL01 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Crouch couldn't finish the play. Qin Fan Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Santo in the 77th minute of play. Peter Crouch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Giraldo having to make a save. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ejner Neinvig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Peter Crouch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Giraldo, 3-5. Forever Tango's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Peter Crouch scored to the left of an out of position Juan Giraldo, making the score, 3-6. The ZORZAL01 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ZORZAL01 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
