Guaberto Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Cloyo in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Doug Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Cebo came out of the goal and Doug Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Cebo having to interfere. Guaberto Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doug Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Burutzagi. Guaberto Cebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doug Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Quitilipi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Diablos Rojos were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Henrico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Urbano Nuñez got a free kick in the 80th minute. Doug Bermudez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Los Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 82 minutes into the match, Maximo Cloyo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guaberto Cebo, 0-12. Guaberto Cebo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Cloyo in the 89th minute.
