In the 10th minute, Froilan Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Haakon á Borg got control of the ball when Thomas Melse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haakon á Borg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Thomas Melse sent off a good shot on target. If Jörn Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Haakon á Borg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Jörn Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Remir's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Remir helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Forever Tango got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Remir. Jörn Helström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Senin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Haakon á Borg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Melse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Berdaitz in the 40th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Haakon á Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Fresco to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörn Helström made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jörn Helström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Helström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Helström spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Forever Tango's goal. After a rather tough play, Forever Tango's Ulises Remir got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 89 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Helström came free, but Albino Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Jörn Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jörn Helström came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cura del Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Helström couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Cura del Futbol's Wen Fei Peng seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wen Fei Peng the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cura del Futbol protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wen Fei Peng had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 97th minute Thomas Melse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haakon á Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
