The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Lico got free with Guaberto Cebo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Maldonado in the 9th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Guaberto Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Guaberto Cebo made a huge save. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Maldonado in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes, Arsenio Maldonado made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Arsenio Maldonado notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo. Guaberto Cebo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guaberto Cebo was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Arsenio Maldonado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsenio Maldonado really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Henrico made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Vito came free, but Guaberto Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Nuñez during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guaberto Cebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Vito's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. During the 71st minute of the match Urbano Nuñez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Urbano Nuñez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ciro Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaberto Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Vito in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Ciro Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ZORZAL01's zone, Guillermo Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Polo came out of the goal and Guillermo Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Arsenio Maldonado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nicolas Burutzagi fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quitilipi's protests and gave Nicolas Burutzagi a yellow card for diving instead. Ciro Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Maldonado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Cebo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Ciro Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Cebo having to interfere.
