The Cura del Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tadeo Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Torres in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilberto Hernandez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute Jörn Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Jörn Helström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Herrera. SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörn Helström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 28 minutes, Honorio Dunixi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SUMERIO FOREVER F.C and the Cura del Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SUMERIO FOREVER F.C getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Honorio Dunixi hit a great ball. SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's Tadeo Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Helström in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's zone, Jörn Helström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Herrera came out of the goal and Jörn Helström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's Tadeo Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Helström in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Jörn Helström made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Herrera. SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Jörn Helström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Herrera was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Inocencio Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörn Helström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Herrera having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Helström came free, but Tadeo Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Perico hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Torres made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jörn Helström had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Norberto Gotzon charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Gotzon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cura del Futbol made a substitution. Bonifacio Reynardo replaced Jörn Helström. In the 52nd minute, one of SUMERIO FOREVER F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SUMERIO FOREVER F.C. Karl-Erik Nordal walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 56 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Reynardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeo Herrera. Bonifacio Reynardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Natalio Gergori got a free kick in the 58th minute. Inocencio Perico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Hernandez. Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's Reynaldo Guipuzkoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Hernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bonifacio Reynardo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Herrera. Tadeo Herrera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Carlos Gonzalez scored to the left of an out of position Tadeo Herrera, making the score, 1-6. When Inocencio Perico fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SUMERIO FOREVER F.C's protests and gave Inocencio Perico a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeo Herrera went to the wrong direction when Karl-Erik Nordal was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bonifacio Reynardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tadeo Herrera made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Reynaldo Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Reynardo in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonifacio Reynardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Herrera. That made the score 1-8 in the 81 minute of play. Bonifacio Reynardo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tadeo Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cura del Futbol. When Bonifacio Reynardo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tadeo Herrera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Raul Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cura del Futbol were furious when Wen Fei Peng was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 93 minutes into the game, one of Cura del Futbol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cura del Futbol:s Gilberto Hernandez showed great skill when he stopped Feliberto Torres:s penalty. In the 97th minute Mariano Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cura del Futbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cura del Futbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
