Los Diablos Rojos's Doug Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Mateo Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximo Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Plebeyos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
