In the 3rd minute, Gaston Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Henrico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualterio Fonso. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Alvaro Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Cebo came out of the goal and Alvaro Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Clemencin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gualterio Fonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When El Ridiculo Football Club's Alvaro Mikelar in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quitilipi's goalie prevented a goal. Guaberto Cebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Mikelar's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Urbano Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Henrico took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Fonso. Gualterio Fonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A hard shot by Gaby Milito from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Gualterio Fonso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gualterio Fonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Guaberto Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Mikelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ordono came free, but Guaberto Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Fonso having to interfere. Guaberto Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Mikelar in the 40th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Guaberto Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arnulfo Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quitilipi's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Fonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, El Ridiculo Football Club's goalkeeper Gualterio Fonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Nuñez. After 47th play minutes Arnulfo Henrico shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Gualterio Fonso and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Mikelar made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Henrico in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Fonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guaberto Cebo was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Alvaro Mikelar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvaro Mikelar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 63rd minute, Arnulfo Henrico made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Fonso. El Ridiculo Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. El Ridiculo Football Club's Matias Restu was substituted for Leonardo Lluciano. In the 66th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Burutzagi to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ordono in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of El Ridiculo Football Club booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes, El Ridiculo Football Club's Anselmo Resto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guaberto Cebo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Ridiculo Football Club reached it. In the 79th minute Arnulfo Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Ursino. Serafin Cordaryal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Guaberto Cebo made a huge save. Guaberto Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when El Ridiculo Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Mikelar in the 91st minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Guaberto Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Mikelar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Guaberto Cebo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 94 played minutes El Ridiculo Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Cordaryal. After having played for 97 minutes, Arnulfo Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quitilipi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the El Ridiculo Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quitilipi.
