In the 10th minute Javier Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Luisito Olo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aristides Poncio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goalkeeper Aristides Poncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Olo. In the 21st minute Luisito Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Phelipe in the 22nd minute of play forced Forever Tango's goalkeeper Aristides Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Eduardo Kelemen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Niceto Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forever Tango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Urritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Ipar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. Forever Tango's Cesar Hondo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Ritchie came free, but Robustiano Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Eyague having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Urritz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Celtic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Beila to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Lesardo in the 55th minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Celtic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. If Marcelino Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eduardo Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtic FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Poncio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes, Javier Ritchie made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Celtic FC's Robustiano Eyague tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Apolo Bazil got a free kick in the 68th minute. Robustiano Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filiberto Phelipe fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celtic FC's protests and gave Filiberto Phelipe a yellow card for diving instead. Filiberto Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Niceto Urritz sped through Celtic FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robustiano Eyague. Aristides Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Javier Ritchie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robustiano Eyague. The goal made the score 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Celtic FC's zone, Niceto Urritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Eyague came out of the goal and Niceto Urritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Santxol. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Niceto Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forever Tango's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Urritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Forever Tango played a much better game than Celtic FC and deserved their victory. The Celtic FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
