Carlos Manuel Goyeneche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Felipe Corderro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, Plebeyos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Medardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Dalmacio Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Plebeyos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis María Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis María Rodriguez in the 37th minute of play forced CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goalkeeper Felipe Corderro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfaro Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Alfaro Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Emeterio in the 44th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Goyeneche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis María Rodriguez to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fidel Umbruso's late challenge caught a Plebeyos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Umbruso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Fidel Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Pietro in the 57th minute of play. Plebeyos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramiro Pietro in the 58th minute. The corner led Plebeyos's Ramiro Pietro to fire away a dangerous shot which Felipe Corderro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Felipe Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis María Rodriguez in the 61st minute of play. If Alejo Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Pirmin in the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Luis María Rodriguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Corderro. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis María Rodriguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Plebeyos's Moises Escobar was substituted for Alejo Heli. Plebeyos's Efrain Bras was substituted for Elvio Medardo. 77 minutes into the game, Big Gato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Manuel Goyeneche. Big Gato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The Plebeyos fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Plebeyos's Luis María Rodriguez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Aldo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis María Rodriguez during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Plebeyos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luis María Rodriguez hit a great ball. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
