The audience was convinced that Aarto Hahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Portugal was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Lisandro Pimenta hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Moises Gutxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Portugal having to make a save. Baltasar Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Boncho Shirov from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Alex Portugal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Aarto Hahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Pimenta hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, SC Sopegal's goalkeeper Alex Portugal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Gutxi. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Sopegal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boncho Shirov was slow to take the kick. During this time Kzator's players had a chance to rest. Aarto Hahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Portugal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aarto Hahl ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Portugal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Moises Gutxi sent off a good shot on target. Aarto Hahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alex Portugal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Aarto Hahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Portugal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Alex Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarto Hahl in the 79th minute of play. Kzator's Ivaylo Ormanov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jerónimo Durães, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Alex Portugal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Gutxi in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sopegal's goalkeeper Alex Portugal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lisandro Pimenta's late challenge caught a Kzator's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, SC Sopegal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Aarto Hahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Portugal was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
