Sid Park started the match with the kick off. Fabien Frederickx kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SK Gullegem from getting a goal against them. Innes McWalter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf De Winter in the 17th minute of the match. Yelle Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sid Park in the 22nd minute. Innes McWalter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raf De Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Sid Park got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Gogo Oriol got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Frederickx in the 29th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Innes McWalter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sid Park took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yelle Van Damme. Yelle Van Damme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 38th minute Fabien Frederickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innes McWalter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard McNeish to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Will Jamieson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 59th minute, Dean Jamieson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sid Park sped through SK Gullegem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yelle Van Damme. After 63 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Colin Booth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Frederickx in the 65th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Innes McWalter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sid Park scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yelle Van Damme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SK Gullegem's Gerrit Quintens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Innes McWalter but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Innes McWalter got control of the ball when Fabien Frederickx tried to sneak it across the goal line. SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Park in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Raf De Winter took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Innes McWalter to make any attempt to save it. Fabien Frederickx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Innes McWalter made a huge save. After some careless play in the Gavião Kyikatejê defense, Fabien Frederickx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Innes McWalter. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Innes McWalter should have stopped the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
