Ivan Turina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piearres Somiedo. Guillen Ubiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Hammarström in the 9th minute of the match. Bartoleme Ceja hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Magnusson in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Gaafar Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillen Ubiña came out of the goal and Gaafar Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillen Ubiña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rutger Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örebro FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rutger Magnusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillen Ubiña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaafar Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillen Ubiña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rutger Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Örebro FF got a corner. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaafar Jesus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guillen Ubiña in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillen Ubiña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 44th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gutierrre Valseca to maneuver through the defense. Gaafar Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Ubiña having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nardo Tuo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Örebro FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Dracena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Alberete in the 53rd minute of play forced Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaafar Jesus got free with Guillen Ubiña in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaafar Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Guillen Ubiña made a huge save. Guillen Ubiña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaafar Jesus in the 64th minute. Gaafar Jesus got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-4 in the right cross in the 66th match minute before Guillen Ubiña had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Somiedo in the 70th minute of play forced Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillen Ubiña made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gaafar Jesus sent off a good shot on target. Sporting Buceo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Gaafar Jesus scored to the left of an out of position Guillen Ubiña, making the score, 0-5. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Guillen Ubiña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña got control of the ball when Gaafar Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sporting Buceo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Örebro FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
