SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Hammarström in the 4th minute of play. When Fabien Frederickx came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the SK Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Frederickx couldn't finish the play. Geovani Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gaafar Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute Gaafar Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yelle Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djondo Djokodamono kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Dean Jamieson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Rutger Magnusson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yelle Van Damme. Yelle Van Damme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee ignored Örebro FF's protests and gave Łukasz Piszczek a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Örebro FF got a freekick which was hit by Łukasz Piszczek. 34 minutes into the match, Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabien Frederickx. The supporters of Örebro FF booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lode Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Rutger Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme got control of the ball when Gaafar Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yelle Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaafar Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Gerrit Quintens put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in SK Gullegem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! If Gaafar Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaafar Jesus got free with Yelle Van Damme in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save SK Gullegem from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yelle Van Damme. Yelle Van Damme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Gaafar Jesus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yelle Van Damme came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaafar Jesus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 86th minute. After 91 played minutes Örebro FF got a freekick which was hit by Enes Akdoğan. Örebro FF's Łukasz Piszczek got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Łukasz Piszczek off the ground. Łukasz Piszczek hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Örebro FF played a much better game than SK Gullegem and deserved their victory. The SK Gullegem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
