The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziemowit Gdowski in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yelle Van Damme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Ziemowit Gdowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmond Walder's late challenge caught a Viseu United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Walder helped the player get up and apologised. Elias Torfs charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Torfs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Torfs kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ziemowit Gdowski succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Gdowski in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Will Jamieson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's António Silva got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Viseu United's Alexandrino Curado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raf De Winter in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Gdowski in the 36th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Yelle Van Damme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Ziemowit Gdowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yelle Van Damme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 47th minute, Shen Feng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SK Gullegem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viseu United were winning 0-3.

Yelle Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Feng in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ziemowit Gdowski took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Yelle Van Damme to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Viseu United booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Gdowski got free with Yelle Van Damme in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabien Frederickx hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Yelle Van Damme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ziemowit Gdowski went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Viseu United's Virgílio Camacho was substituted for Leandro Paulista. In the 76thth minute of the game Ziemowit Gdowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yelle Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziemowit Gdowski in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Virgílio Camacho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viseu United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Gullegem the free kick. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Yelle Van Damme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The SK Gullegem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Viseu United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
