Trần Ritchell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Ignatius Casasola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 8 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Rebocho came free, but Hoàng Tran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorvald Mansel. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nguyễn Chuong took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ignatius Casasola to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Gama in the 19th minute of play forced FC Dalin's goalkeeper Hoàng Tran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, António Gama had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hoàng Tran. FC Dalin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Gama was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Salvador Lousada got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hoàng Tran came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Edgar Costa. But to his dismay, Edgar Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, FC Dalin's Liễu Minh-ha got a free kick in the 30th minute. Salvador Lousada hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Thorvald Mansel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Ritchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Gama in the 44th minute of play forced FC Dalin's goalkeeper Hoàng Tran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Dalin's Thorvald Mansel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's Thorvald Mansel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The supporters of FC Dalin booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Albano Leizarraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hoàng Tran was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Thorvald Mansel came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Trần Ritchell put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ignatius Casasola. In the 76th match minute, FC Dalin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liễu Minh-ha to maneuver through the defense. Albano Leizarraga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Hoàng Tran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goalkeeper Hoàng Tran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Leizarraga. Akis Kefallinos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hoàng Tran. Hoàng Tran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Thorvald Mansel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ignatius Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txanton Sagastia hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hoàng Tran came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Albano Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The FC Dalin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garanhão do SUL's performance. The match ended with a win for Garanhão do SUL.
