Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gnaget AIK! The goalkeeper, Viktor Kjellman, was totally fooled by Garanhão do SUL's Akis Kefallinos, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Gnaget AIK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jerry Boklund hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Cassiano Telinhos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Kjellman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Jan-Ove Dahlman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnaget AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Stig-Åke Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ignatius Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Rebocho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akis Kefallinos got free with Viktor Kjellman in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Godholm came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gnaget AIK were furious when Christian Stål was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Gnaget AIK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Christian Stål hit a great ball. Gnaget AIK made a substitution. Klas Kämpe replaced Jan-Ove Dahlman. Christian Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig-Åke Wall was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Ove Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Wall in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Wall in the 58th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Cassiano Telinhos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Jerry Boklund sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ignatius Casasola threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jerry Boklund this time. 62 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Wall came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Wall in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignatius Casasola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Gnaget AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Rebocho came free, but Viktor Kjellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Gnaget AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Boklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Jerry Boklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Albano Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Kjellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Kjellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Vigário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassiano Telinhos in the 75th minute. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Wall in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Amado Vigário ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Kjellman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Gnaget AIK's Viktor Kjellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Kefallinos in the 89th minute of play. If Torcato Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akis Kefallinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Kjellman having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garanhão do SUL had won after a very even match.
