Doğan Alemdar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Torgny Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doğan Alemdar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Doğan Alemdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kayserispor's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Kayserispor getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. İnanç Rauf hit a great ball. Jan Höijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Alemdar having to interfere. Rüdiger Stanke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jens-Åke Källberg made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Torgny Landin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kayserispor's Doğan Alemdar. Doğan Alemdar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Doğan Alemdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doğan Alemdar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torgny Landin in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğan Alemdar saved Kayserispor from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Torgny Landin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Doğan Alemdar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torgny Landin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Doğan Alemdar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Åke Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rüdiger Stanke in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Väino Asuja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kayserispor's zone, Jan Höijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğan Alemdar came out of the goal and Jan Höijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Torgny Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğan Alemdar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Väino Asuja hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Doğan Alemdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kayserispor's Väino Asuja got a free kick in the 40th minute. The wind increased when Spartak Ayala made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Väino Asuja during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kayserispor getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Väino Asuja hit a great ball. Torgny Landin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Doğan Alemdar 53 minutes into the match. Doğan Alemdar was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Torgny Landin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torgny Landin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Doğan Alemdar came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Landin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doğan Alemdar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Oscar Lindholm replaced Özkan Kayaer. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Kayserispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Bülent Akduman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Edvard Dusett hit a great ball. Oscar Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Doğan Alemdar made a huge save. After 92 minutes, Fazlı İçkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kayserispor and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Oscar Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğan Alemdar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fazlı İçkin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goalkeeper Doğan Alemdar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Lindholm. After 97 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Arne Klochkovskiy. The Boca Juniors supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boca Juniors would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
