The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Cyryl Zagrodny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Barskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Barnaba Wachna made a huge save. Cyryl Zagrodny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cyryl Zagrodny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When MAVARK - Działoszyn's Cyryl Zagrodny in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Barnaba Wachna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Schubring in the 25th minute of the match. Cyryl Zagrodny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Zagrodny in the 27th minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Cyryl Zagrodny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAVARK - Działoszyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Ernst Barskov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barnaba Wachna. Ernst Barskov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Cyryl Zagrodny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ted Kobbeltvedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Drik made a substitution. Calvin Townsley replaced Gunvald Mitens. 46 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Zagrodny came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ernst Barskov made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Zagrodny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Kobbeltvedt was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Cyryl Zagrodny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Kobbeltvedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. At last the ball reached Daniel Sadlowski at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC Drik. 1-4. Cyryl Zagrodny in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cyryl Zagrodny struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ted Kobbeltvedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAVARK - Działoszyn. Ted Kobbeltvedt came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by MAVARK - Działoszyn's Cyryl Zagrodny. But to his dismay, Cyryl Zagrodny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. MAVARK - Działoszyn made a substitution. Leon Huchro replaced Shitu Shittu. MAVARK - Działoszyn's Tymoteusz Ruszczyk was substituted for Cyryl Zagrodny. Willy Reitoft hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Howard Lovecraft might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Kobbeltvedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Howard Lovecraft ran back to his position shaking his head. Howard Lovecraft's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Kobbeltvedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Ted Kobbeltvedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Ruszczyk's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. With a little luck, FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt got control of the ball when Tymoteusz Ruszczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barnaba Wachna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Townsley in the 85th minute of play. When MAVARK - Działoszyn's Tymoteusz Ruszczyk in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Drik's goalie prevented a goal. Tymoteusz Ruszczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as MAVARK - Działoszyn's Tymoteusz Ruszczyk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ted Kobbeltvedt. That made the score 1-7 after 93 minutes of play. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ernst Barskov hit a great ball. Ted Kobbeltvedt was a little too slow when Tymoteusz Ruszczyk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-8. The FC Drik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MAVARK - Działoszyn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
