Ted Kobbeltvedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Reyes went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Froilan Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannick Bartz in the 17th minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Froilan Reyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luis Täger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Barskov in the 22nd minute. Froilan Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Parque Europa FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Parque Europa FC booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolas Tengbjerg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Kobbeltvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Reyes in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Kobbeltvedt saved FC Drik from getting behind. If Froilan Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Reyes came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Parque Europa FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Reyes was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Parque Europa FC's zone, Calvin Townsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Täger came out of the goal and Calvin Townsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coronel Castro. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Schubring in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Parque Europa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willy Reitoft was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Drik's players had a chance to rest. In the 92nd minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parque Europa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Parque Europa FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
