In the 2nd minute, Vágner Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aappo Tuominen had several of the Verdes SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Vivaldo Motta as he didn't even see the shot coming. Caetano Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mika Arkivuo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Verdes SS defense, Aappo Tuominen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivaldo Motta. The Verdes SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivaldo Motta should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Koisthuhta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Lima came free, but Mika Arkivuo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Caetano Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mika Arkivuo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Aappo Tuominen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vivaldo Motta. Aappo Tuominen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Mika Arkivuo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Janne Alanko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes, Caetano Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verdes SS and the Koisthuhta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Verdes SS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Caetano Cerezo hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Ossi Hakala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Oliver Sainomaa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vivaldo Motta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arlindo Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Lima in the 52nd minute of play forced Koisthuhta FC's goalkeeper Mika Arkivuo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vivaldo Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aappo Tuominen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Vivaldo Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Sainomaa's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Oliver Sainomaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Motta having to make a save. In the 71st minute Aappo Tuominen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Sainomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vivaldo Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aappo Tuominen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Motta having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Oliver Sainomaa made a precise shot to the right of Vivaldo Motta. Verdes SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Oliver Sainomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Verdes SS's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Sainomaa came free, but Vivaldo Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When João Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Verdes SS's protests and gave João Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Verdes SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Aappo Tuominen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vivaldo Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Koisthuhta FC's Aappo Tuominen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vivaldo Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Koisthuhta FC were the better team. Koisthuhta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
