In the 3rd minute, Anderson Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hever Pozos. The goal made the score 1-0. Hever Pozos made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Dadá Correia sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Gaspard Valenciaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. José Augusto Meireles got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Renatinho Moreira. In the 21st minute Renatinho Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hever Pozos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Anderson Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hever Pozos. Eagles FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anderson Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Correia got free with Hever Pozos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxin Martel in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Dadá Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hever Pozos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspard Valenciaga. 35 minutes into the game, Procopio Cornejo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hélder Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute Gaspard Valenciaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hever Pozos was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Anderson Donato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anderson Donato really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Hever Pozos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Moreira in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Olívio Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guapiranga and the Eagles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olívio Pinho hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxin Martel to make the kick off. The supporters of Eagles FC booed when Guapiranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Gaspard Valenciaga put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hélder Silva. Maxin Martel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hélder Silva made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Nilson Motta in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eagles FC's Procopio Cornejo. Hever Pozos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Eagles FC's Hever Pozos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Donato in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Dadá Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hever Pozos. Eagles FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dadá Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. If Maxin Martel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Correia took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hever Pozos. Hever Pozos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. After 76 played minutes Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcones Leonor. If Anderson Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hever Pozos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gaspard Valenciaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Silva having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxin Martel got free with Hélder Silva in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Anderson Donato fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guapiranga's protests and gave Anderson Donato a yellow card for diving instead. Anderson Donato hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Gasteiz Burgos. Anderson Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Donato came free, but Hever Pozos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guapiranga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Eagles FC for a fine match.
