The crowd rose to their feet as Artistico Futbol's Modesto Maore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vivaldo Motta. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, Modesto Maore reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vivaldo Motta. The goal made the score 3-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Lima made a kick off. Caetano Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Cristobal Frisco made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Modesto Maore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Vivaldo Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 58 played minutes Verdes SS got a freekick which was hit by João Silveira. After some careless play in the Verdes SS defense, Modesto Maore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivaldo Motta. The Verdes SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivaldo Motta should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Modesto Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Modesto Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artistico Futbol's Alfonso Heli was substituted for Modesto Maore. 82 minutes into the game, Benigno Aresti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artistico Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verdes SS the free kick. A nice corner shot did that Raí Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristobal Frisco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Caetano Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cristobal Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
