Raí Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Eleuterio Quinteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Motta having to make a save. 3 minutes into the match, Verdes SS's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Quinteros came free, but Vivaldo Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Motta having to interfere. Vivaldo Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Quinteros in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arlindo Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geronimo Niguel. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Quinteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vivaldo Motta was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After having played for 20 minutes, Zeledon Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Frasquito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eleuterio Quinteros sped through Verdes SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vivaldo Motta. Eleuterio Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Motta having to interfere. A collision led to Furor FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Patricio Gorosti hit a great ball. Geronimo Niguel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raí Carvalho. Verdes SS's Vivaldo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Quinteros in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Quinteros to make the kick off. Zeledon Frasquito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Motta having to make a save. 52 minutes into the game, João Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdes SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furor FC the free kick. João Silveira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Geronimo Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Cerezo in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Furor FC's Marco Tristan got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Nuñez got free with Vivaldo Motta in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeledon Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Motta having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Verdes SS's goalkeeper Vivaldo Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Quinteros. In the 74th minute, Ignacio Salvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vivaldo Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Quinteros struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Vivaldo Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furor FC. In the 87th minute Zeledon Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eleuterio Quinteros came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Furor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Quinteros couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Verdes SS's zone, Eleuterio Quinteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Motta came out of the goal and Eleuterio Quinteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Lima in the 93rd minute of the match.
