Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's goal looked a bit too open when António Gama came free, but Gervásio Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervásio Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervásio Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torcato Rebocho's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Palmiro Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atlético Micaelense's Vítor Resende got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gervásio Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcato Rebocho in the 24th minute of the match. Gervásio Sousa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Rebocho. But to his dismay, Torcato Rebocho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Bettencourt in the 31st minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute António Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervásio Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Gama took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervásio Sousa. Gervásio Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With his leg Ignatius Casasola managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Atlético Micaelense's Palmiro Bettencourt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Costa made a kick off. António Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervásio Sousa having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Klaus Van Mellart notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola. Ignatius Casasola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Gama in the 58th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Gervásio Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervásio Sousa was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and António Gama capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. António Gama really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Amado Vigário replaced António Gama. Gervásio Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Vigário in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervásio Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Palmiro Bettencourt came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Atlético Micaelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palmiro Bettencourt couldn't finish the play. Atlético Micaelense made a substitution. Geraldo Madureira replaced Vítor Resende. Angel Edorta hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Gervásio Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Leizarraga. In the 86th minute Amado Vigário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervásio Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Palmiro Bettencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leal Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Atlético Micaelense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garanhão do SUL's performance. The match ended with a win for Garanhão do SUL.
