Daustad's Are Rygg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Rotariu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Bonet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jens Kohler hit a great ball. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Todor in the 28th minute of play. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Bonet in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Daustad got a corner. PoWer SC 2K5's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Bentsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. David Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after PoWer SC 2K5's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mats Bentsen took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Bonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Rotariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Bonet to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Prestin came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the PoWer SC 2K5 defense, Luis Bonet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Rotariu. The PoWer SC 2K5 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Rotariu should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Alberigo Mancini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Rotariu came out of the goal and Alberigo Mancini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Bentsen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Mats Bentsen. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Middendorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PoWer SC 2K5 made a substitution. Leroy Kluttig replaced Zvonimir Prestin. Peng Song Ting charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peng Song Ting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peng Song Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Lukas Goretzka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daustad's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
