In the 7th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Luis Bonet put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of David Rotariu. Luis Bonet scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kai Förster hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the PoWer SC 2K5 defense, Luis Bonet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Rotariu. The PoWer SC 2K5 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Rotariu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 26 minutes, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bonet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Luis Bonet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. David Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Rotariu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Luis Bonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Daustad's Jo Øverås got control of the ball when Zvonimir Prestin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Bonet scored 0-7 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 50th minute, Zvonimir Prestin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Bonet's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The corner led Daustad's Peng Song Ting to fire away a dangerous shot which David Rotariu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Luis Bonet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Luis Bonet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Bonet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alexander Brehme hit a great ball. Luis Bonet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. David Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Daustad booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Brehme didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu got control of the ball when Luis Bonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Bonet got free with David Rotariu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daustad. After having played for 94 minutes, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bonet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Daustad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Daustad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
